Ugh another yearly WWII movie centered around the industry of Jewish victimhood. Movies like this they spew out every year is why they can get away aggressive policies, and intrusive laws and when criticized they always retreat behind "but SIX million died!" Also Return-Of-The-Pope STFU! A lot of people died in WWII. Not just Jews and your gays.
Here's the thing: Humans, in large groups, are very easily capable executing what they perceive as "justifiable" atrocities. The truth is: there is NO such thing as a justifiable atrocity. Not and Never. Was the systematic extermination of 6 million jews, 15,000 gay, 200,000 disabled and 500,000 Roma (Gypsy) by the German Nazis in WWII an atrocity? Absolutely. Does one atrocity justify another? Absolutely not.
I did not know what to expect, but this is very well done. Taking out the trash, give the poor a voice (of hand) in their liberation. Also revenge, corruption, karma. And awesome soundtrack.
Episode 1 - The most blatant exposition introduction that I have ever seen acted absolutely horrendously. They mock themselves and the history of the show. And then... babies. SPACE babies! Episode 2 - a trans thief of music. A bad trans thief at that. I can't believe a dialog driven intelligent sci-fi show has become this. BBC should be publicly apologetic. Disney+ should be taken out behind the barn and shot.
Enjoyable, and i'm glad to see the stories, and method of telling the doctor's stories are being expanded- it's only 2 episodes in, so there's no substantial media to create a full opinion on my own. It's not "woke" btw, that word gets thrown around too much. It's just written being aware of many types of human experience.
