THE MOMENT THE FILM STARTED WITH CAST AND PRODUCTION WRITTEN IN FRENCH, I KNEW ALREADY THAT IT'S A DIFFERENT MOVIE. LOL.

The First Omen (2024)

Complete woke rewrite of the original Omen. Instead of being born of jackals, protected by satanists, the origin story is "re-imagined" to have the Catholic Church bring forth the antiChrist, to bring more people to the Church. And of course, it's current year so... the handful of men that ARE allowed speaking roles are the typical libby beta males, while the females are "strong, independent, don't need no man" women. The usual creatures will hail it as stunning and brave, so you'll know it's shit.

It took a while before I realized that the film that I just spent 37 min watching was not and I repeat NOT the First Omen. Got really high, made a nice snack and sat down to enjoy a movie and apparently got to damn high.... Didn't even realize I had been reading sub titles for over half an hour and then it hit me and that's when I realized lol. I looked at my girl to see she was watching following along with the subtitles when I paused it and gave her the news. She's a lot higher than I am cause now she wants to finish whatever it was we were tricked into watching hahaha
