@LadyJ I too, am a leftist woman, & im omnisexual, but omg, stop broadly generalizing. Not even nearly all men suck. Not all military men are abu$ive. Some join for benefits, like in the US where they get college paid for. Don't you think wishing death on people is a little extreme? Sure, you may not feel sad if certain people were to die, but wishing them death isn't fair. They have families, loved ones, & lives. This movie, I agree, is really weird cause they're 14 years apart, but it isn't like Sol was going after 20-yr-olds. She pushed him away because of their age gap?? It's not a 10/10 movie, but it's not "forgettable and stupid". Don't start with all your cusses and insults. One argument I have to make to cishet white men all the time is to stop cursing in every single sentence because they can't control their emotions. You, of all people, should understand that. If you don't enjoy a movie, rate it a 1/10 and click off of it.

Just rewatched it. Damn, that's a good movie. If you're a millennial and were too young to see it back then, I highly recommend you watch it. The movie didn't lose anything with time.
