These movies were made by the dozen at the time. Some were better than others, while some of those others were atrocious. This one is, of course, silly but quite fun. The Mummy is played by Tom Tyler who starred in the 12-part 1941 version of "Adventures of Captain Marvel" which is the best of all the Captain Marvel films to date and introduced the magic word "Shazam"! Tyler died quite young at 51 of a heart attack.
Fantastic...wow! I enjoyed part one but this is a different beast, the cinematic visuals blew me away, the tight arc and hans zimmermans best score since Interstellar, all combine into a must see beautiful best movie in years. Cant rate it highly enough.
I loved Dune Part One, but found Part Two really disappointing. I thought Part One had great pacing and introduced us to the world and conflicts really well. Part Two felt rushed - like they initially made a 4 hour movie that they then had to cut down to 2.75 - with little explanation for what was going on, character arcs that were more like right-angle turns, and jump cuts that were confusing as to what was happening and how much time had elapsed. For example, early on Paul is sent by Stilgar to cross the desert by himself. (Why does he have to cross the desert alone? Who knows, the movie doesn't say.)
