"Sandy hook" = Satan's hoax. The one that got the whole wider "truth movement" started in earnest, which hitherto had been basically limited to 9/11, JFK, Paul-Is-Dead, and the moon landing hoaxes. Not too longer after, people were even starting to comprehend that the entire spinning sky-ball heliocentric oblate globe-Earth theory was a hoax and a blunder (not that Alex limited hangout gatekeeper Jones would ever be allowed to admit that). Hence the continuing desperation to discredit the exposure of the truth of the Sandy Hoax. And yes Robbie Parker...lol. Wayne Carver...double lol.
I'll rate this doc at 7, I thought it biased, it was present in such a way to elicit sympathy towards the victims. That's not the job of a documentary, but I understand it, they had to put faces to the harm that Jones actions caused. But this video is not about if the massacre happened. It was about how Jones continued spreading the information, even after he already knew the information he was giving out were false, furthering the trauma of the parents. And he did it, not because he was still questioning the truth given out by the official story. He did it because he saw a spike in the ratings, so he was milking it for financial gain. Alex Jones was not wrong to question the official story, we actually need people like that, but you can't continue spreading lies for your own benefit, after you know what you're saying is false. He had to be punished, as a warning to other media, not to just spread something out whatever brings more profit.
Could've been better. The whole thing felt a bit undercooked. No doubt Marley fans will enjoy it, especially because of the score. But as a movie it felt like a missed opportunity to really get to know the man and his legacy. 6 stars out of 10.
This movie was horrible. It whitewashed who the real Bob Marley was- a violent womaniser who regularly put his hands on women and who thought he was some kind of prophet spreading a message who was stupid and arrogant enough to die of a treatable disease. The man is a musical genius, that is no doubt. But he was not kind nor a good person. In the end, his own hubris was his demise.
