The arc of the story: She was shallow, then she sold out. (... who would have ever guessed that, eh?).
Much like you, I really really wanted this to be good, but right into episode 1, I could tell it was a train crash.
On the other hand, they did pack a lot of very weird stuff into 6 episodes.
May it rest in peace with never a season 2 to be seen.

I have to admit... I was wrong. So I'm sorry if someone pays attention to which shows I recommended, and feel mislead. I'm a man enough to admit when I'm wrong.
After I think third episode, I no longer wanted to watch it.
I think I may have been just so optimistic, because I so needed a show, I'd be waiting with great anticipation for the next episode,
All shows nowadays are just so... meh, If I miss an episode I'm like "whatever".

I guess I'll finish this season, but it feels more like a chore, than a pleasure...

Smart and complex. This storyline has a massive arc with multiple timelines that could have gotten lost in the details but in the end [or the beginning?] was told with enough skill to keep the tension high and me wanting more. Glad the cowboy wasn't Raylan Givens, this guy's way more entertaining.
